She Who Weeps

I am remembering the innocent children and adults who experience the violence from a young man who was severely troubled and went on a shooting rampage at Sandy Hook elementary school 12/14/12. 

I was deeply affected by these events and I hold prayers for all children... I continue to hope for different laws regarding gun ownership and responsibility.   I also pray for more mental health services to become available to those in need.  I pray for this community as they remember their loved ones and how their lives have forever been altered.   

I was witness to a shooting event at Clackamas Town Center in Portland, Oregon three days before this occurred in Newtown, Connecticut.  Three people died that day (12/11/12).  It was a traumatic experience which I will never forget.   The above painting was dedicated to both these events and was part of my healing. 

May Peace Prevail and may love be at the center of all choices…
